NSGL Loan Policies
Most publications in the collection are available
for a one-month loan (limit of 10 documents). Telephone, mail, email,
and interlibrary loan requests are welcome. All requests should
include name, address (include street address if different from
mailing address), telephone number, and email address (if available).
For each document requested, please include the Title,
Author, Year, and any known identifying document numbers.
There are no fees for borrowing. However, the patron
is responsible for fees in returning documents and the replacement
cost for any lost or damaged materials.
The NSGL does not provide personal copies (or photocopies)
but will direct the patron to the originating Sea Grant program.
To avoid having your request returned to you for clarification,
be sure to indicate that you wish to borrow from our library.
For some of our publications, you may be asked to
request an interlibrary loan through your local library.
Please return borrowed publications in a padded envelope,
to ensure safe arrival to our office.
